A can of octane boost but which one ?
Why don't you have Livernois add a supplemental tune to allow 91 octane?

I did 2 bottles Lucas, lost my practically still brand new , pre-cat O2 sensor, 1 week later. Coincidence?? (Twilight zone theme playing)

You tell me.

Not sure what part of IL you passed through, but we've got 93 all over the place. Its all 10% ethanol unfortunately, but at least we have 93. I usually go for BP or Phillips 66 stations, they're almost sure bets to having it.

If you're talking about the areas around and including the big stinky city north of our state, we don't claim that as IL.

All stations here in N. IL. sell 93 Octane, Shell and Mobil are good to go for me.

Octane Boosters would boost 91 octane to something like 91.4 They don't really work.

Called livernoise they said just don't
Get on it.
Don't use octane additive
It will tear up spark plugs

No idea if caused your O2 to go bad but I have used it and Torco for a race tune and it does work. It's been proven 3rd party on both to increase octane though not as much as advertised. One 16oz bottle of Torco or two bottles of Lucas will put 91 octane to around 94 octane with about 10 gallons of fuel. Or maybe its 5 gallons as I don't recall exactly since its been awile. You can look it up and both have been tested.
