That tag I got from Funkmaster Flex. He's a North Jersey NYC area DJ, and a bigtime Chevy collector and enthusiast. He was even on the Chevy 100 program I watched on Velocity HD. He's a cool dude...Ya Heard Funkmaster!

Neither of you remember the show "Rides with Funkmaster Flex" on Spike (or was it TNN then?)

Current/recent GM intros...admittedly ALL FWD-based architecture:
Buick Regal - WB=108"; OL=190"; Curb=3580 (Base), 3688 (Turbo)' 3717 (GS) Buick Verano - WB=106"; OL=184"; Curb=3300 (Base) Chev Cruze LTZ Turbo - dimensions similar to Verano except Curb=3177 Camaro based on Alpha (ATS), which requires NVH numbers that are World Class, AWD capabilities, and with ride/handling parameters that should be WC as well... All versions will require a minimum of 8 airbags, camera etc. as safety equipment/standards "improve"... ATS = Regal, roughly, in size and in Curb. So...how much dumbing-down will the Camaro-specific versions see? Not much, not likely... Will the Camaro be the size of, and weight of, a Cruze? I think not. Not even in 4-cylinder form, which will be it's Standard version. Turbo 4 = 100+. V6 = Turbo 4 + a bit. V8 = V6 + 100 (HD drivetrain/brakes/rolling stock). Again...conjecture... This is being touted as a possible "Chevelle"...
http://jalopnik.com/5873286/is-a-che...o-show-concept Could it, in fact, be a "proposal" for CAMARO, hiding in plain sight with a Chevelle badge on it?! |

Hmmmm the makings of a 2016 Z/28?????
"Cadillac claims a less than 3,400-pound curb weight on the ATS will be one of the lowest in the segment along with nearly 50/50 weight balance". http://www.thecarconnection.com/news...roit-auto-show |
