Also not sure how you'll get to 460rwhp with headers exhaust intake and tune. Highest number I've heard was 430. I'm 427rwhp and 480 something to the crank

I have only heard that when it comes to mods, you decide what number you want to hit. Say 460 rwhp, then you go to a speed shop and ask them how much it will take to get you there. Whats the next step? a Cam? Supercharger? turbo?

Manual right? if so, a good size cam, retune could get you there (from what i've seen on here)....Ported/aftermarket heads, intake manifold are options too, depending on your goals.

Looks like we're on to October now. Good thing I did one when I did.

You can get 460 rwhp with a cam header and a good tune.

I will be close's to that in the 68 with a small cam in a carbureted LS3. That with pump gas and a little more if I want to run race fuel and add more timing

Tallahassee peeps, if I wanted to become friends with a local speed shop, let's say for dyno tuning, future performance endeavors, etc., where would I go? SS Performance isn't around anymore and I would guess TransAm Worldwide would be a good option but I'm not sure if they work on random cars so much as build their conversions. I know the shop is where SS used to be and they likely have the people and experience to do whatever.

Thoughts? For now I really would like to get a stock dyno run done but I'd like to have a place to do it I can call home so I can come back to the same shop in the future for things like a supercharger, etc.

I love the way your car sounds, noted.

Seems like Stainless works is the common denominator so I'll go with those. Lashaway is a ways away, I've got a quote from the local place, PM me with what type of price you think they'd give me.

I have spoken with Browning tuning recently, I've met the guy Derek a few times and it seems like a good shop. Just want to see what all is around Tally.

Thanks all for your input. I'm looking for around 460 or so RWHP, so hopefully I can get that done by the October meet.

I believe (In the Market) had the question answered with his post.

Somewhat, yes. I did forget about that post but I've got to believe there's something in Tallahassee itself, rather than going up to Georgia. Perhaps not.

Not that I know of. I myself don't know about tall TransAm have not heard any good things about them. Last I know of they was using a out of state tuner to tune their cars.

But if you try them let me know how it go's.

Well since FSP is no more, which is another topic....I personally would see about Lashway Motorsports or Redline motorsports. Both are great shops and worth the drive from what i've seen and heard.

Redline worked on Sycraft's V6 when they installed his S/C.
