1LE build price??!?!

I am curious to see how much money you guys have in your 1LE. Add up all modifications (including install costs) and add it to the price you payed for the car (loan or not). Here is my list to date, may have missed a few things.

Purchace Price (with tax)- $42000

LSA supercharger- $7000
Night Fury Cam w/ valvetrain- $3500
JLT CAI- $300
Kooks LTH with hiflow cats- $2300
SLP muffler delete- $250
4" twin dual exhaust tips- $70
Mcleod Twin disc RXT clutch- $1400
SLP hood heat extractor- $250
Z28 Spoiler- $400
MRR 228 wheels- $1300
Nitto NT05 rear tires- $600
Quarter window louvers- $180
Led side markers- $180
Black Camaro fender badges- $60
Black bowtie overlays- $30
Full 20% tint- $250
Zl1 pedals- $120
Camaro Floormats- $180
Interior ambient lighting- $30
Dyno Tuning (x3)- $1500

Total: $61,900

I keep a Google spreadsheet of everything I spend on my car. The number is wildly disappointing though other than tires and a set of MRR 228's I bought to mount winter rubber on.

Only modifications are skip-shit eliminator, catch can, rear sway bar, caster locks, and some front-end bushings. Rest is completely stock.

WOW , mods can really add up . Right now you can buy a brand new 2017 Corvette GS for $58500.00 or a brand new 2017 ZO6 for $74400.00 at Kirbeck in Atlantic city NJ. What I'm waiting for is the 2018 10 speed in a GS .

Exactly, makes me wish I wouldve waited and went for a new Z06 for what I have in my car!

Better yet, don't spend it in the first place.

I am with you Billy! Three sets of rubber and a set of brakes is all we have spent in these first 52K plus miles. Had a blast, but am keeping a close eye on the Grand Sport Corvettes. I can see mods for those that are seeking better lap times, but we are not at that place yet. Not knocking anyone, but just can't see spending the money that I would never get back unless the better times were a goal.

PS: We did not even add much when we ordered the car. Only option outside of 1LE was the BA stereo on a 1SS platform.

I understand what you mean, it is a track car, but some people have different aspirations for their car, I personally have not been to a road course yet, but deffinitely plan on it!

Have not been either, and have had the car for 4 years! I will get there, just have had other things getting in my way! and yes, to each their own as far as their car.

We all know that it is the same as it has always been , ya gotta pay to play . I look at mine as a hobby and a toy . I figure if you wanna play ya gotta pay . I have no regrets on the minor mods I did and knew I wouldn't get my money back . CHEAP THRILLS AIN'T SO CHEAP ANYMORE. I look at it this way , I had and am still having fun with the car and am ok with the cost.
