Thinking bout molded splash guards...

I took home my summit white camaro about a week and a half ago and already noticed how filthy the car gets behind the tires. Ive also heard about bad rock chips near side vents and was thinkin these splash guards would help. I have silver stripes and was wondering if silver splash guards would look good on the white car. please post your opinion.

I have had them on since day 1 and they do help. You will still get hit in the gill area but the area behind guards hold up very well.. Get white.I think different color would stand out.

You've got one of my favorite color combos. Your car is beautiful

I like the look of the splash guards, and i'd think they would help keep that area clean and prevent some chips. Go for it

Bang your head off of a brick wall for awhile until you knock some sense back into your head. Was that too over the top or should have I held back a little about my opinion on mud flaps?

Your options are splash guards or repaint later. I don't care for the look either but I still have them.

I'd suggest white so they blend in. Don't think you want to draw attention to them.

I also have a white SS and I have a set of silver ones that Im about to paint and install.
Just waiting another day or two and Im going to have them sprayed by my painters.
It does suck that GM doesnt offer them in white tho.

MY car actually got backed into by some old fool with less than 300 miles on it and he took some paint off my rear cover so I have that all being done together with the mudgaurds.

I have had mudgaurds on all my past Camaros and I believe thay work pretty good and look good to me. The looks are all just a matter of taste I think.

I put mine on a few weeks ago. Plan on removing the wheels if you DIY, trying to do them without taking the wheels off is a waste of time. I'd go with white the silver would look terrible.

Nowhere sells them in white without marking the price up for the paint job. If anyone can find them in white I would def appreciate it. Gmparts has them for 130. I rather not spend 200 from chevy.

I you want them to not stand out get unpainted black. That's the only color I would even consider on any color. The painted ones looks hideous in any color.

I'd get them painted white to match your car. I have them and really like them. They seem to be doing their job keeping my car cleaner longer and helping with rock chips.

RPI has them for 195 but charge 75 dollars extra for the summit white ones. Who would spend 270 for these that's ridiculous

I love my splash guards. I think they look good & they have clearly reduced the paint chips since I installed them. I got them on e-bay from a GM parts dealer for a lot less than the locar dealership wanted for them. Hubby installed them in just a few minutes. Good luck with your decision. It's your car, do what you want.

IMO, silver would really stick out too much and not give you a good look at all. If you like the look of the splash guards, go with white.

There was someone else on here (can't recall the thread) who just put simple, small, flat black mudflaps in the wheel well and so far that has been my favorite look. Very understated and hardly noticable at all. Blends in with the tires/road.

I've got 11,000 km on my 2010 and haven't had too much trouble yet with chips, but if it becomes an issue, that's how I'd go.

I like them a lot but would love to see what silver would look like on the white, probably not great but I would be interested to see. Some people say to go with black but I don't know I have no black anywhere on the car lol. Spending 270 for white ones really isn't an option for me at this point.
