VERY NICE!!! $1600 is not bad! I was worried about breaking into the factory paint to have stripes painted on mine, but these look so nice I might just have to do it, I may go over the top with them too...

remember to get the gills colored in...they look pretty good I have the ultimate bumblebee figure which is the concept and in car mode its almost a foot long with all the details, the other thing on it is a nickel fuel door and dont forget the bee-otch air freshener and disco ball

LOOKS VERY GOOD,IM GETTING AN IOM,THINKING OF HAVING STRIPES PAINTED ON, JUST CANT DECIDE BETWEEN BLAK,WHIT OR MAYBE SOMETHING LIKE A SLIGHT DIFFERENT SHADE OF ORANGE OR PEACH COLOR, AND I AM DEFINETLY DOING SOMETHING WITH THE GILLS,TO GIVE THE SIDE VEIW A LITTLE SOMETHING...

That is how the factory stripes should look.

Far better than the vinyls and will look better for the life of the car!

If they get permission from Hasbro, it won't be. The only cool thing it'll have is the badging....and that isn't even bumblebee accurate.

We had a decal put in the gills on our car, ones that fade. And I do have a bee-otch air freshner but forgot about the disco ball.

Okay folks, here's an update on the custom paint job. But first, many thanks to Musclebee for sharing his own custom paint job, it looks superb. His job and mine will have some subtle differences which will give everyone some great references for deciding how they want their stripes to look. Please note that the spoiler is not yet attached and was just carefully placed on the deck lid for my (...and your) viewing pleasure.

My project is nearly finished and should be complete by Friday, with final pics forthcoming. But in the mean time, here are some shots during the process and prior to final touch-ups and clearcoat. Big props for David, Robert, and the rest of the talented and friendly staff at Jones Collision Center. The work thus far has been nothing short of exemplary. Thanks guys.
