I've had it freeze up two or three times where none of the soft buttons work. Once I restarted everything was fine. However, just in the past week the hard Nav button at the top right has stopped working. All other hard buttons work. I plan to have it checked when I take it in for the first oil change.

Im having this problem too; screen going black for 2sec and then comes back to normal. Happens when driving normal, normal volume, nothing is supposed to be hot after 5mins!

Im wondering if its a battery/ground issue after HID install but I dont see how...

My service advisor told me to bring Camille in to remove & re-insert the fuse. He also told me that a customer with a Silverado was having the same problem and this is what they did to fix the problem for him. I haven't had time to get to the dealership yet, but he said it would only take about 10 minutes to do. I'll post an update once I get it done.

I might have a solution for you guys; I had the same problem and it was at the same time I installed HID and thought it was a ground; one ground was bad but the problem was not solved.

Then I thought my 17lbs braille batt was the culprit. So I was switching to my original batt and noticed that the positive wire was loose, but not around the batt pole. It was the bolt that holds the pole to the wire that was loose. You have to open the red plastic box around the pole/wire to see it. Ill try to get a pic. Just wiggle the wire and youll know right away.

My problem is 100% solved. I bet this is it. I saw a bunch of thread on this. Im thinking this could be the solution to all of this.

Havent had this problem yet, but the varied symptoms do remind me of grounding issues.

Trunk ground needs to be tight near the fuse block.

ha. look at this one

I have a weird problem with mine.
I take photos all the time and my dealer says not good enough. It has to happen when im at the dealership which my proble. Never does. My problem is my rear camara takes a snapshot of the last time I was in revere. Then it pops on my nav screen. Then it freezes, restarts by itself. Does it a few more times. Then its fine. As you can see in the photo it says the road im on is 65mph. Which is correct because im on the highway. But as you can see you see the last photo I was that it stored in some kind of memory and froze on my screen. Makes no sense and its frustrating the dealer cant help. I have over 25 pictures.
