That's awesome if you actually have been able to use that though
It's definitely legal to have darker tint than the legal limit if you have a medical reason, and of course I don't really have one, but my eye doctor was kind enough to say that I did . I don't want the tint to help with the sun, I want it so it looks good from the outside. I have shown the letter to the police at the MVA and they said, just get it tinted and bring it in and they'll certify it. So that's what I'm gonna do, tomorrow I'm taking it in to get certified.

I live in michigan and the laws are retarded....but anyways, you are only allowed to tint the rear windshield and the rear windoes, none allowed on the side or front. Do you guys think it is worth just tinting those or would the unbalance of window color look bad?

The law that covers window applications is MCL 257.709 . The use of tinting is limited to the rear side windows, the rear window if the vehicle has outside mirrors on both sides, and the top 4 inches of the front side windows. There is a limited exception for medical necessity with a doctor's prescription, which allows for tinting to be applied to the front side windows as well. Michigan does not have a specification for the darkness of the window application, but does prohibit applications with a solar reflectivity greater than 35%.

what is that saying

I really do have sensitive eyes when I'm in the sun. I think its because I wear sunglasses all the time so if I don't my eyes are sensitive. Maybe I should ask my eye doctor next time about it. I have 15% all around on my SS but have never had a problem with cops or anything. (Knock on wood)

Really? I did 20% and it looks badass! night driving just takes getting used to, but i'm good with it.

Night driving with tinted windows isn't as bad as peopel make it out to be. I've had 15% on all my cars and never really had a problem with night driving. It you have like 5% limo tint, you could potentially have a problem with otherwise I couldn't stand driving without tint.

I like it!
35% looks good! I don't like my tint too dark. If I tint, probably go 35% all the way around...
