Catch Can Pro's & Con's? Worth it?

Hey guy I have a newer SS L99 only about 30k miles and I have been reading a lot about Catch Cans. They almost seem like a necessity to help maintain a healthy manifold and intake?

Would like some feedback I'm still a rookie, thanks guys!

This. It helps keep your engine healthy. If you plan on keeping you car long term it is a no brainer.

I do want it long term and she is my daily driver (well only when I'm not on the Harle) so I need to get one ASAP! I'm at 30k miles right now and never knew this.

Any recommendations on a good quality catch can?

Well, if you have a catch can it makes using Seafoam less fun because there'll be less smoke. That's kind of a con.

I was on the fence about getting a catch can for my somewhat daily driven LFX.

I bit the bullet and went with an Apex Catch Can. Though it was a bit more expensive than others, I went with Apex because of Apex Chase's active participation and sponsorship of this forum.

I installed it about 2 weeks ago; here is the install Apex Catch Can...

And after about 200 "spirited but not overly aggressive" miles, if the can hadn't caught it, where would it have gone?

Check out Apex. Good product at a good cost. Worth it and looks good too.
