Congrats.

Great choice on getting the 1LE.

Strange as the car doesn't have the typical 1LE black wrap on the hood?

Enjoy the ride!

Welcome.

I notice the car has the black vinyl taken off and different wheels. Looks good.

I'm undecided if I am going to put the hood wrap on, I kinda like the more subtle look. Someone else mentioned the wheels, I just assumed they were stock as the car is certified pre-owned and everything else appears to be stock. I'll have to do some research on them to figure out what they are and if they are the right sizes and offsets.

i would do some further research to make sure it is a real 1LE. There have been quite a few threads with fake 1LE lately where they are just fitted with the aesthetic pieces to make it look like one. Yours looks legit, it has the brake calipers and the body kit, looks like maybe they just took the wrap off and swapped wheels. Not sure why they would change the wheels. The wrap looks good off on the white, i would leave it!

I'm pretty confident it's a real 1LE, besides the body and brakes it also has the correct steering wheel and shifter. Seems like that would be too much effort to then use the wrong wheels.

I'm pretty pissed off about the wheels, I'll see how they offer to take care of it before I say anything I might regret.

I'd see if they can take some off the cost since it does not have original wheels. Not having this on a 1LE is a major downgrade, unless these are forged wheels which I doubt. The wheels alone on our cars are very very expensive. It's likely the previous owner removed and sold them to make some quick cash before selling the car.

Welcome to the club either way!!

Congratulations on the car - awesome color! If you'd like to PM me the VIN of the car I can run a VISS on it to verify the OE build, I manage a Chev dealership so have access to that info. Either way, enjoy it!!

Thanks to Houseofhotrods, I know for sure that it is in fact a real 1LE. I didn't realize it had the NPP exhaust on it but I am guessing someone has already pulled the fuse because the exhaust note is awesome and doesn't change. The dealership was just as surprised as I was about the wheels and I am waiting to hear back from them.

They look like forgestars to me. Not a bad wheel at all but the 1le wheels are worth more.

That's exactly what they look like, thanks. Nice to know they aren't complete junk but I would still rather have the OE wheels. I'm most surprised by the fact that they are 19" and still clear the calipers. We'll see what happens.

Congrats on the car! Welcome to the 1LE Club!

You can quickly/easily check out all of your options via the RPO codes in the trunk under the carpet. If it has 1LE like the photo, it's a 1LE!
