i think its funny that other magazines and websites can make estimates and people would berate them but then edmonds makes a lowball guess and people start acting like its gospel

<insert that timing roadmap here>

remember no prices till much later in the year.

Well Edmunds does carry a lot of weight. They're pretty much the auto industry experts, doing everything from new car reviews to pricing strategies to market analysis to used car appraisal. In fact they're the source for a number of auto-media outlets. They're usually pretty reliable, so even though that number is not at all official, I think we can trust it a little more than other numbers that have been thrown out before.

Just like we can trust their driving numbers.

Question Competitive Pricing

Since day one the word has been that the camaro pricing would be competitive with the mustang...so with that sad..i cant help but wonder why would the camaro ss which will be around at least 100 more hp than the mustang GT only run about a thousand more...and then consider that a charger srt is easily over 40k pushing 425 hp...i would be the happiest guy on the planet if its around 30k but is it just me or does this not seem that realistic?

YES YES YES. The SS should have an SS in the middle of the grill NOT a bowtie, like the old SS cars.

Is the rocker panel treatment new or did I just not notice it on the black SS?

probably. The RS/SS will have the Halo lights, and the deeper rear lights. I wonder how much the RS package will cost... I really want those deep rear lights.
