Thank you, giving up coffee and beer is a big deal to me. Today is day 1, I had an oatmeal, banana smoothie for breakfast and I am craving that morning coffee. I will get past it though. Maybe have an herbal tea to quench the thirst and need for something warm.

The biggest issue is tonight, neighbors are having a MN Wild party for the game, he home brews beers. I'll take along some club soda to drink I think.

I haven't researched this so forgive me if I'm wrong. Arent the cortisol raising affects of coffee from the caffiene? Do you crave the taste or the caffiene? Because decafe my be another alternative.

And good on you for restraining. You can do it!

You are correct, I don't know if I just want to avoid it as much as possible or is some decaf wouldn't be bad for me. I may stroll up to the Kurig machine here at work and grab a decaf. I usually have coffee on my 45 minute drive into work, so I wasn't even thinking about coffee here at work.

Updated photo. Now down 95 lbs, and knocking on the door of 250. Still have another 50 to go. Then I can start to get more serious about my lifting habits.

I think the real before and after on this thread should be y'all's improved 1/4 mile passes. I'm trying to burn 40lbs myself (weighing in at 235). We'll see if that'll bring in the 13's!
