Thanks Dan!

Once I get this 1/4 down, I am going to move over the autocross. I hope to be able to even run with the Big Dogs like you someday! You keep getting better, at this rate you will move from the autocross to the track SCCA events before I even get started. Let me know when you run a little further south so I can go watch a PRO run!

She says she is going to bring her CTSV out to the track and run it for the 1/8 mi runing this Friday! May get her into this passion of mine afterall!

Thanks for the compliments guys..

But I owe a big Thank You to Pete.. his suggestions and giving me the opportunity to run at the C5fest have helped get me dialed in a lot quicker... probably cut off more than 3 months of adjustments/trial and error time.

I still have more to learn. I need to fine tune my driving skills some more - I think that is going to help going forward. There probably isn't too much left in adjustments in the car going forward to make it faster, other than removing weight.

It is really cool to finally be within a few thousandths against the other prepared cars.

I am going to need to capture video from the next AutoX sessions, so you guys can see how much faster the car has become.

does lpe have a presence on the board? I have questions for Jason about the FPCM. Trying to disable and remove it. I called and left a message earlier for him but never got a call back.

easiest way to get the corporate folks is to look through this thread and PM one of them.

Graham, Ryan, and Tim have all posted in here. They drop in from time to time to see what we are up to.

They aren't very active active most of the time in here.

There were 5 cars in the Street Mod class..
I raced with a FWD turbo'd VW Jetta, and the rest were 4WD subaru's. All of them were modded pretty well.

Those 4WD Subaru's are tough.. they are a great autocross car and unbeatable in capable hands.

So far this season I have 1 first, 1 second, and 1 third place finish.
I am 1st place overall in the SCCA Street Mod class...!

I'm very happy with the car's performance so far this year.
Congrats Dan keep up the good work. You are one heck of a good driver and you seem to be getting better and better.

Mike, You have to be ecstatic with your results. I know you have been shooting for the 11's for a while now and wow you broke way in and almost skipped the 11's and went straight to the 10's. Congrats!!!

Darren!! Buddy!!! Good to hear from you!
Yeah this car is a beast now, it ought to good enough to get into the very low 10's.
The question is if I am good enough to drive it into the low 10's.

Glad to see you out and posting! Cant wait to get caught up again so I can sneak over to hit the tracks with you guys!

Mike,
what are you using for rear drag slicks?

did you set the shocks per Pete's recommendations?

Thanks Darren! nice to see you posting on the forum!

Hoosier full bias slicks on Weld Wheels 17". I wish they would make us a 12" wide bias slick we need all the contact patch we can get.
Yep on Pete's majic settings! My only problem is busting loose on the shifts all the way into 4th. I am going to play with the air pressure some more and go even softer on the rear settings to see if it helps.
