I used to be Dragoneye...

I would, too. The package said nothing of a "unique" shifter...just-suede wrapped.

Now that I've seen Crystal Red Tintcoat in person... I really want to see Ashen Gray before I decide...
I really want that spoiler no matter which one it is... |

Game over. Check mate. Walk off home run. GLJ with exposed carbon fiber hood.......who could ask for anything more....if one could order a car to die for and be buried in it this is it, that goes for the ZL1 configuration which I so desire!.<however this concept is as bad as HE double broom sticks! <but I am really diggin that CF rear spolier!> We all are so lucky to be here right now, at this time, to witness these products coming forth ....

A new phenomenon for me. I love and hate the cf look at the same time. I hate cf, I hate the spoiler, but the ashen grey cf ZL1 looks ultra hot!

I wouldn't say I feel as strongly as you, but I admit I wasn't one of those that instantly go googoo gaga over exposed carbon fiber. Now I'm coming around to the point that I'm pretty sure I'm going to change my Ashen Gray order to the exposed insert. The pictures in this thread have been very helpful. Thanks to all of those that provided such nice, high quality shots to help me make my decision

I believe 'father said something about the Ashen Gray having more of a gold highlight, rather than blue. It could be the lighting, it could be a mild filter put over the picture, but if Ashen really has this much "Dusk Blue" in it, I may have to revisit my internal color discussion.
Looks sleek, for danged sure. Edit: I was just noticing, even the black tires look blue in these pics. I need to see this in person before I get to the point of no changes.

Nope! I have looked so much I have decided to change from ashen gray to red. I had a CGM 2SSRS so I guess I am done with gray and ready for something a little more flashy! It is a beautiful car tho. I might change my mind again and go back, but, I never get tired of looking at the photo's.
