With no dual mode hook up, do the flaps stay open or closed? Can I adjust them manually?

If you just run a vacuum line from the intake to the mufflers when you crank the engine they will be open for a few seconds and then close and will stay closed until you step on the throttle and the manifold vacuum will drop and the mufflers will open as soon as you let off the throttle the mufflers will close!
