What clutch are you running if you got 470rwhp or more?

Are you able to daily driver it. Pros, cons? Where did you buy it? Cost for replacement should run about? Thanks for any advice.

561 RWHP, not a DD, recreational driving only...the car has never seen rain.

No drag strip racing, but many all out 1st gear launches with speed shifting thru the gears, but no full throttle power shifting.

Stock clutch...no problems....so far.

Man, this is fun.

We have seen people using the stock clutch up to 600 hp. It to me is not just the issue of it handling the HP but the feel. I hate the stock clutch. It realeases late and grabs weird. My favorite clutch for the money is the LS7/Z06 clutch. Handles power great and a smooooooooth release point!! If you are wanting the more aggressive clutches we have had fantastic luck with Textralia's.

Textralia for the win...a lot of my friends have them or strongly suggest using them when you start modding you car and increasing your power output.

What can you tell me about the amount of pedal pressure on both the Textralia and the LS7/Z06 clutches. My wife is 5'-2" at 105 lbs...gonna need a clutch that she can handle.

Why is her opinion on the clutch so important? Its a long story.

i will have to get you exact information on the pedal pressures as I dont have them in front of me. As far as the wife I totally understand. The ls7 clutch will handle what you are doing for everyday driving but if you decide to start tracking this car then I would upgrade to the Textralia z-grip. Little stiffer pedal but stronger. Just depends on what you decide to use the car for? I will get you the information onthe pressures and pm you today!! Thanks

The LPE twin disk clutch and flywheel...Pedal difference...none
The release is much smoother than stock, pedal feel about the same but the thing sticks like crazy.
It's a toy not a daily driver, and yes it has seen plenty of track time, and the occassional cruise.

LPE ZR-1 clutch and flywheel.

It's a dream to use. Works perfect with a light pedal.

No problems whatsoever...

The stock one only lasted 1500 miles for me. went up in a cloud of clutch smoke... instead of tire smoke. the stock clutch sucks!
