Exclamation Check out the new MUSTANG interior !!!

HEEEy every one ...

My friend (MUstang fan ) just sent me some pictures for the interior of the stang .

He thought that the interior looks better than the CAMAROs' and feels like it has better quality of made ,than the Camaros' .

So what do think guys ? IS he right ??

MY Q : Should the camaro ''really'' need a touch screen with hi technology features, just like the challenger and the stang???

I don't like the looks of the mustangs interior. It just doesn't flow. But, to each his own.

Also...

I like the shifter, overall dash, steering wheel and gauge layout. I don't care for the seats, or the center stack. Touch screens are useless - I can buy a MUCH better portable GPS system than any of those factory models for a lot less money and take with me when I get a rental car or something.

I actually like the new interior of the 2010 Mustang. Not more than a Camaro, mind you but I think it's pretty nice.

Can't believe the Mustang GT is still using a 5spd?

That interior reminds me of my old camaro. Wheres the totally original ambient lighting package. And to answer your question, i think there should at least be an option planned for the near future. Turn-by-turn nav is nice, but for the techy people who want to see a tv screen in their car are not gonna accept Turn-by-turn.

How does he know it feels like it has better materials than the camaro??? has he sat in either one and felt the materials???
Dosen't look like much of a departure from what it has now...

The interior, except for the seats, is very...unimaginative. The nav screen helps of course but it's just something shiny to help you forget your car has only a 315 hp V8.

Had they put a nav screen in the Camaro I would have had to get it. And it would have jacked the price up another 2,000...which I would then look at the overall price and be less pleased. I don't NEED the nav screen and if I get lost, I can pull out my phone's nav. Or a map. The screen is just a toy that will be fun for a little while and then useless.

NAV screen maps generally become outdated and useless. Not for me.

You do realize that a 6 spd transmission is only to give you a extra overdrive gear for fuel economy on the highway and gives no performance gain. It won't get you down the 1/4 mile quicker or around a track faster and you won't get a higher top speed. So....who cares? Oh but the 6 speed will make transmission repairs more expensive so that's good for the dealers.

The new Mustang's interior looks awesome. Personally I like it over the Camaro's interior. I think that the Camaro would be great with a Nav option.

Then why does a GT500 have a six speed?

Or Porsches, Ferraris, and the ZR-1?
They're not exactly gas-savers and yet they all have six speed transmissions.

I think if the Camaro was coming out with a five speed and the new GT had a six speed you'd be all over us for it.
