lol, I've done it a few times, not very pleasant. I prefer quick shifting, with knee jerking the clutch. Sometimes I sidestep it if I'm feeling froggy.

Power shifting in these cars is actually kind of hard, with the way the 'rev limiter' works by just straight cutting power. You even touch 7k for a split second, it cuts you out just enough to make it pointless. A traditional rev limiter is necessary IMHO.

It's more "different" than "better". V6's and V12's have a higher pitch. the Lfx has no header options so it hinders its ability to have a deep growl like V8's and V10's.

Most of the V8's appeal is the sound. less than 5 years ago their performance was equal or less to the power of the LFX V6...again 2010 mustang GT 315hp at the crank, the 2010 - 2016 challenger/charger R/T just sit at 370hp at the crank...

R/T's feel sluggish to me for a 5.7 v8. Even in 2016 their 0-60 is 5.1 seconds, where as the 3.6 LFX v6 is 0-60 in 5.2 (5.1 auto).

You sure you don't mean the 6th gen LGX?? I thought GM published the figures for the 5th gen LFX at 0- 60 in 5.9 secs (M6 3.27) and 0-60 in 6.4 secs for the 2LS (A6 2.97).

I guess i should finally post in this thread.

I am 100% satisfied with my Camaro, and now am on the quest for 350rwhp N/A.

The ONLY thing that i would like from the V8....is the cam lope from aftermarket cams. Thats it. Well, and the aftermarket support. But with a few members help and a few companies on board...we might get there soon :-)

(2LS) I've gotten 5.4 out of it...which I think is unimpressive as is. There are subtle factors that affect the few seconds to 60. Weight, temp, how good at launching you are. I haven't timed it on D only on M (aka ERS mode, in the 2ls.

I'm not a drag racer or anything, just used 0-60 times to make a point about power and quickness.

If some good aftermarket cams become widely available, you would definitely be at the power level of the V8's or more. I just wish someone could come up with a solution to the WOT only at 4K rpm and above. There has to be a way to eliminate that in the stock tune.

That blue metallic is a really nice color. I'm jealous.
