To funny not to share

I know street racing stories are not allowed but I'm not sure this is street racing. You'll see what I mean.
I was making my way to work and one part of the journey you make a couple of long left and right turns. After which you turn in front of the college and then over the bridge. Which widens out to 3 then 5 lanes later.
Well I front of me I see 4 or maybe 5 tail lights darting in and around traffic. "Uhmm I wonder whats going on?" I think. So when I catch them at the last light before the college there is a Prius, VW bug, FIT and a Mini Cooper reving thier engines. But as a matter of public saftey and to save the little cars from a heart attack I didn't get involved.
They took off and I followed at a distance. At the college turn light I was pretty much in the middle of them. They started the reving again. Again I didn't do anything until I hear "A bailed out car company can't make a car or a V6 worth anything."

Mind you my car sounds fairly mello until you get in it....
So I shifted into "N" and provided some V8 music him to listen to.
The guys jaw dropped and said, "Hey that doesn't sound like a V6!"
"The SS on the side of the car means its a V8 brother."
"Oh I didn't know that."

So there ya go
Chevy Camaro SS educating forgien car drivers daily

You must be deaf if you can't hear and feel the fury that is a revving Prius.

Awesome story. I remember my dad revving up his 2006 "Heap" Grand Cherokee at me just last week, just because he knows it sounds funny and mine sounds so much better. The motor whine overtakes the exhaust noise in the Jeep haha.

My wife bought a 2012 VW Beetle Turbo the other day. It's got a 2.0L with a whopping 200 HP! I drove it for a few minutes and gave it back to her. Just not quite the same for some reason.

What does a Prius even sound like when reving? I'm guessing it sounds like a rush of air. "Woooosh, Woooosh"
