22's Didn't fit..

I recently purchased a 22" rim and tire set for my 2017 SS2 Camaro. Front tires rubbed at top inner area. *265/30-22 is the size I have that gave me issues* 22x 9.5 is the rim size. (Sizing found on inner rim area sais ET33 on all 4 rims. Does anyone know why I am having problems and or what I should do at this point?

Well the ZL1's have 20 inch rims on them from the factory. And they just barley fit. So these larger rims, not working doesnt surprise me.

That tire is an inch taller than factory. You would need a lower profile tire I'd think. Keep the diameter closer to stock.

why not do what everyone does with ridiculously large wheels on cars not meant for them. Add lift to the suspension.

This is mine. 22x9 in front with 245/25/22. And 22x10 on the rear with 315/25/22 you could also go 295/25/22 on rear or all around

you need to run all the old and new specs through willtheyfit.com
If the new specs are 4% taller or more than the old - you'll need to reevaluate what you want done. The offset of ET33 may be hurting you as well as I think the stocks are closer to 50. Anything more than 4% will also mess up your speedometer in that it will not show your correct speed.
