Exhaust tips that work with the oem ground effects

I have a Borla Atak Cat-back installed with the tips which don't work with the ground effects. So, before I install the ground effects I will have to replace them with ones that do. Any suggestions on what I should get?

Check out this thread. MBRP has some. I bought them and they look great and are totally adjustable.

I've seen threads where people say they just cut off some pipe behind the exhaust tip to shorten it then they just have it welded back on so that it fits inside the exhaust bezels, similar to how the stock ones fit. I think this would work better than the other kit that borla sells with just no tips.

Thanks for the info guys! I know borla sells the kit without the tips, but at the time I hadn't planned on getting the ground effects, so I went and ordered the kit with the tips. This was back in September. I just bought the ground effects yesterday

Is there a way to install those to a 2.5" pipe without welding? I have a welder, but I heard its not fun at all welding exhaust pipes...and those tips really do look great

I have the Borla S type and the MBRP tips. I can't find any adapter pipes to go from the Borla 2.5" to the MBRP 3". Has anyone found anything?

I had to have a muffler shop make then out of 2.5" stock. Cut at 6" and then expanded. Then I welded the whole assembly to my exhaust pipes. But I am sure you could use band clamps to connect it.
