FS: Lazarus, the #214th Camaro ZL1 ever produced...
Yes....sadly - it is time to move on.
http://www.tomhenrychevy.com/Vehicle...-PA/2101891753 I'm offering my most prized possession up for sale. He's in GREAT shape...just purchased brand new OE G:2 tires about 1500 miles ago, so they're good for at least 13,000 quality miles more. About the car: 2012 Camaro ZL1. VIN: 000214. Price: $47,990 Miles: 15,600 Silver Ice Metallic Manual Transmission Suede Shifter/Wheel package Exposed Carbon Fiber hood Black Forged 20" OE wheels OE Goodyear Eagle G:2 Supercar tires 285f/305r ZL1-embroidered floor mats ZL1-embroidered center console lid Modifications: Custom Chrome Red Bowties (These are not vinyl...) Pedders ZL1 package ("slight" lowering springs, stiffer stabilizer bars, front/rear bushings) http://www.tomhenrychevy.com/Vehicle...-PA/2101891753 Comments: The car is not even 2 years old, yet - but...due to personal priorities that have arisen, I've decided to move into a different flavor of Camaro, and let Lazarus go. The car has been "spiritedly driven", never abused. IT'S NEVER SEEN SNOW/salt....I've always made sure to keep it stored until all that garbage is gone. Bodywork and interior is very clean - exterior has 2 coats of Zaino polish on it, interior has 3 coats of leather conditioner. The only "odd" thing that's happened was I had a noisy differential early on. It was replaced @ 3000 miles under warranty, and haven't had an issue since. Even with the suspension modifications, ride quality is not significantly different in "tour" mode. Very happy with the comfort, thanks to Magnetic Ride Control. I followed the break-in procedure to the letter, had regular (if not too frequent) oil changes, the differential fluid was replaced since the new unit was put in, as well as the brake fluid was replaced @ 10,000 miles. It is a Chevrolet Certified, pre-owned vehicle...complete with a the 2 year service plan, and what's left of the 5year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty & 3yr/36,000 miles bumper-to-bumper warranty. You can contact Tom Henry Chevrolet if you're interested in it: http://www.tomhenrychevy.com/Vehicle...-PA/2101891753 |

Lazarus, the name of the car...hearkens back to a biblical story about bringing the dead back to life. Given the history of Camaro...the hiatus before the 5th gen, and the resurrection of the "ZL1" name; I thought it appropriate. (And it has a 'Z' in the name...)
ZL1s have unique VIN numbers. There were only about 1900 ZL1s produced in 2012...only about 110 of them were silver. And only 45 or so of those had manual transmissions. This car is the 214th production ZL1 to come out of Oshawa. Very early...imho...very special. Thank you very much! |
