Anyone else have a XD700/5
Wondering if anyone else has a XD700/5. I am wondering what you set for your Input Sensitivity and what you setup your HP Filter Mode for Channel 1&2 and Filter Mode for Channel 3&4. What frequency have you setup to filter at? I am just about ready to get mine completely hooked up but just wanted to see what settings other people had to try out a whole combination of settings.
I am going to connect the rear 6x9 tweeters later today with the adapter supplied. Not sure how many people have done that yet. Last edited by josephs8; 03-20-2012 at 02:50 PM. |

I am using a XD700/5 with a JL Audio 12W3v3-2 sub-woofer.
I configured the Input Sensitivity using the 9-step calibration procedure in the manual with a 2 ohm nominal impedance. Channel 1&2 - HP Filter 1X. Filter Freq - 80 Channel 3&4 - Filter Mode OFF |

Thanks EDGE_
Thats the exact configuration I am going with. Going to order my sub (12w3v3-2) very soon. what filtering did you do on your sub? Did you end up hooking up your tweeters in the rear? I am trying to decide if I want to order the bass blockers or not to hook them up. Last edited by josephs8; 03-21-2012 at 08:20 AM. |

I bought the bass blockers but haven't hooked them up yet. I decided to try them for awhile without it and I am going to install them this weekend and run it for a week and then decide which I like best.
Right now I am running the sub at 24dB and it sounds pretty good but I'll probably switch it to 12dB. |
