OK Canadians, how are your cars?

Hi guys, with all of the problems that have been mentioned on-line, I just wanted to ask you guys who have already received your cars how they are holding up? Are you happy with them? Do you wish you would have waited until more of the early bugs are worked out? I have an offer on my Z06 and I need to make a decision this week on whether or not I order a Camaro. Thanks in advance!

All I can say is that we picked up ours on Monday night and I drove it all night Monday, and all day yesterday and we love it! My wife and I have to negotiate over who gets the Camaro now. Fantastic car to drive, feels great, moves great. I've never had so much fun driving a car as I have with this one. So far...AWESOME.

Zedder,
So I don't miss anything I will answer your questions in order.

1) Car recieved, holding up beyond expectations
2)
3) No bugs to work out on mine, minor recalls fixed before mine was built

ORDER THE CAMARO YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

3 weeks plus now and LOVING IT. May have a bad sensor on the oil pressure gauge
( cluster) .

My only problem is not the car but GM. They INSIST I can only take it to the Chevy dealer who Fu*!ed up so many times over 30 years I swore I would never be back. I have all my service and warranty done at the PONTIAC dealer and GM says it can't go there.

I'd look into that BS, my son is a GM Tech at a Pontiac/Buick dealership and gets all of his warranty work done there on his Cobalt. They work on anything GM.

One of the first one's from Ontario on Camaro5 to get my car. Early May. 2,500kms. Love the car. Only problems: Loose muffler baffle - fixed before it left dealer; Tach needle sticking a bit - waiting for dealer to "practice" tearing apart someone else's dash before they touch mine. Love the car - wouldn't have waited.

I'm not sure how you will feel going from the Z06 to the Camaro. The car drives more like a BMW 525 than a Z06 Vette so the ride will definitely feel smooth. Other than that, I am beating the shit out of it with no problems.

The car definitely needs a tune though so not sure how touchy you are about messing with it.

In the end, I am glad it has taken so long. There are more parts out there now that I can set up on the car from the very start instead of having to go back into the shop each time for a new mod.

Got mine on June 30th, just absolutely love this car. I have racked up already 1,900kms. The only issue I have had was a loose pillar, which was an easy fix for my dealer.

I don't think the limitation of servicing at Chevy dealers only is a political thing. My Pontiac dealer told me that they need special equipment and training before they can work on the Camaro, it's new "bus" is different and they aren't ready for it yet.
