These wheels were on the car when I purchased it. I was told that they(the dealership) had them powdercoated. I have since gone to 2 different powdercoaters to ask what is exactly on the wheels, but they couldn't tell me.... Doing some research, I found out that they do, in fact, make a "black chrome" powdercoat finish. My suggestion is to go to your local powdercaoter and ask....

Black Chrome is a platting process and there is also powder coating using the same name, here is a list of chrome platting you might be interested in. http://www.natmetal.com/chrome.htm

They do not come like that. When I get my car I am going to get the wheels and have a thick IOM pinstripe painted around the edge. These are the wheels

I feel you on the smaller wheels/bigger tires but the other day I road with a guy who had an 86 monte carlo with 24's and it road just as good as our camaros. I was shocked.

Check out Rick Bottoms Camaro that we did for SEMA. It's a 5 spoke wheel with a Matte black center and color matched lip. The car is not IOM but a close color here's the link

This is just to give you an idea. The first pic is a design pic of what we were going to do but then changed to a full color matched lip. I hope that helps you.
