Loudest Axle back recommendation for my 2014 1lt
Hi everyone, I am looking for an axle back on my new 2014 v6. And I want to know what is the loudest axle back I can get from the market? Is MRT V1 the loudest? Or there are other mofel that are even much louder than the MRT V1? Thanks!!

Good info on that thread and all over this board. From what I gather, MRT v1 is loud and raspy. MRT2 is slightly less loud, and slightly less raspy. Lots of members like the MRTv1 + Resonated Xpipe (reduced rasp). Please correct me if I am wrong, anyone. Your car will not sound anywhere close to where you want it to be without an aftermarket intake. I am running N10(NPP) factory dual mode performance exhaust with fuse pull and a CAI from CAI inc, and when I reach 3500-4500 it starts to sound really ****ing mean. Then when I get WOT from 4500-6800 RPMs... the permagrim is put into its place on my face. Dynomax is another good choice. I had a magnaflow on my mMagnum R/T and it was toned down in the cabin, but ****ing LOUD at WOT. Whatever you do, make sure you so intake and exhaust together! |

I have the American Thunder Catback and its very loud with a nice exotic sound. It literally wake up the neighborhood in the mornings.
Had it for 12k miles, im only 26 and i want it even louder lol. So soon im gonna just delete everything behind the Cats and do a True Crossover Xpipe-2.5 Straight Pipe-4" Dual Quad Tips. That should sound perfect especially when I add the SHFC

You will hate the sound of a muffler delete. It sounds horrid. You will just be loud no matter what you do. It will never have a nice sound.

I strongly disagree with post #12. I love the sound of my muffler delete. I get compliments all the time saying it sounds like an exotic. If you want a loud exhaust with attitude and personality go with a muffler delete. You can alway kill a little bit of the rasp with a resonated x pipe. I was planning on putting one on mine but the rasp really isn't too bad. I would not go with the loudmouth, however. It would be much cheaper and cleaner (welded joints, not exhaust clamps) for you to just go have it done custom at an exhaust shop. I had mine start right above my axle and go all the way out and re-used my factory tips. Out the door I paid like $85.

Ok so that mean you still have your Middle Resonators and H Pipe right? My friend have a muffler delete and isnt happy, glad I got the catback instead because it deleted the middle resonaters and replaced the hpipe for a true x pipe. Sounds really nice, heard the Solo HFC will increase the sound. Aint nothing wrong with the Lfx, a lot underestimate it.
