I should be starting the install Monday or Tuesday , I'll have be four and after alignment specs and ride height

Anyone know about how well this package stacks up against the current SS aftermarket?

It doesn't let you adjust height, but it is an excellent performer with the DSSV shocks, if not the best.

I'm going to run the z28 sway bars as well instead of my Pedders rear and 1le front for now and see how it does

I've heard from multiple members that the rear Pedders sway bar is way too stiff to allow suspension movement. Considering Z/28 sways are even softer than 1LE, you should feel a huge difference, i.e. the suspension should start being a lot more compliant when you go through a corner with rough surface.

Interested! I'm running the same as you right now. I like how the Pedders bar loosened up the rear but it leaves a little on the plate to my liking. Was thinking about going the Z28 route as well.

Compliance is ok for the street, I suppose it's what you prefer. If your seeing any track time though youll need to run a higher spring rate, otherwise it will feel sloppy over the 1le bars.

The Pedders bar -to me- doesn't feel much stiffer in ride quality. It's a good piece, but I know less bar and more spring is what will get me where I want to be on track.

That's right, bar should always be the last step. If I recall correctly, Z/28 suspension comes with 65%/85% stiffer springs compared to SS and 1LE. This, combined with very highly tuned compression of the DSSV shocks makes a major difference in roll resistance. The car does not have much of a roll. I could only try the Z/28 setup once at the track, but it felt pretty good, well balanced, and I was able to post a pretty good time at Oregon Raceway Park, even though I was limited by Hankook RS3s.

We need to get our cars on the track together, we had pretty close lap times at ORP and now that you did all your mods it would really show the differences in the chassis.

The club opens back in May. I can still get you in as a guest for once (a season) for cheap! What was your time? I did 1:58.2 with G:2s, and 1:57.2 with RS3s and the suspension upgrade.

I was pretty consistent around 1:59's but I've only been to that track once. Looking forward to more track days at ORP and hopefully shave some time.

Very cool, it will be fun! I'd love to see the video of one of your good laps to 'analyze' : )

I don't have many laps on video but I have one posted of a 2:04 lap. Not the best lap but gives you an idea. Post 88 http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...=346014&page=3
