Easy way to disable DRL's?

Just installed the harness from Gen5DIY to have my Halos on during the day. I prefer the look of the Halos WITHOUT the DRL's and would like to disable them.

I know that if I turn the light switch to the left the DRL's will shut off, but I like the automatic headlights and would prefer to just disable the DRL's completely.

Any way to do this other than cutting wires or removing bulbs?

If he doesn't already have a harness for what you want to do, he can make it.

I already emailed back and forth with him a few times. He has a harness to turn the DRL's on at night which also has a switch to control the DRL's. After giving it some thought I didn't see the point in paying an extra $75 for being able to control the DRL's when I'd just be leaving them off day and night.

Not that I've heard of, I hated mine so I got ports but I don't think you'd want to do that with the Hot Wheels version.

You could take the bulb out then black it out?

Just disconnect the bulb then. Still looks functional but won't work. I wouldn't cut wires nor remove the bulbs. Want to keep stuff out of the housings.
