64 NEC5 Camaros Take Top Club in RI
Anyone who knows New England Camaro 5 knows that we go big, especially for the Rhode Island All Chevy Show held every year at Diamond Hill State Park, RI. This time was no exception! When the Camaro-vans from across New England all met up at the mall in North Attleborough, we did our annual “car art” parking lot picture. This year – the GM logo!
The formation only took about an hour to get everyone parked (after a good amount of prep time by several key member). From the roof of the parking garage, the result was fantastic. We even spent a few more minutes to get a shot with all the owners. We always turn heads as we arrive, en mass, at the show. It’s difficult for anyone to not notice 60+ cars pulling into the park all at the same time. It’s gotten to the point where the show organizers show us our rows and let us park ourselves. The show was a great time. The weather was perfect, and cars were plentiful. NEC5 members even did some grilling and competed in friendly matches of “corn-hole” (yes, that’s what it’s called). Several of our members also won trophies. In the 1982+ Stock Camaro class Jeff (One-Bad’s son) In the 2010+ Stock Camaro class SS Envy First Place In the 2010+ Modified Camaro class TRC-SS Third Place chetkan First Place And of course, because of our awesome level of participation at the show (and the Bay State Corvair Club did try harder this year, but they still couldn’t do it) NEC5 took home the Best Club trophy for the fifth straight year! Nice job to everyone. I hope you all had a great time, and I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to meet everyone personally this year because there were just soooo many of us! And a big thank you to all of you who helped make this all go so smoothly from start to finish. I can’t wait to do it again next year!

I got a bunch full frontal, except for the few that were too close, so I had to do from corner..
Thanks for starting the separate thread. Will post ours later over the next days. Great to meet new folk on a great day...
