nitrous tuning

do you guys know of any reputable shops that have experiencing on tuning nitrous on LS motors??.

i installed my nitrous outlet, nitrous system on my 2010 camaro ss but im having some issues with the tune or with the progressive controller.

i dont see or feel the diffrence in power when i activate the nitrous.

i can back up that statement because i went to irwindale to test the system out and i ended with a 8.8 1/8 mile at 85 mph..

my stock bolt on time was a 8.2 1/8 mile at 89 mph

both were a 1.9 60 ft..

any input is appreciated.

Cunningham motorsports is a great shop. Tuned my twin turbo setup and have no issues.

How much are you spraying

Did you spin at all

probably only sprayed fuel which could be why you went slower

I am doing a 100 shot. the jets I used are from nitrous outlet. there .52 for the nitrous .28 for the fuel side.

btw, what fuel pressure are our cars running at? I really don't know if there 55psi because it has a chart for 45 and 55 psi

Give us a call and i'll go over your system and how it's wired up. We do a lot of nitrous installs and it sounds like something is wrong with your install.

We run at 58psi and 99% of the time the jet chart is on the rich side. Get a wideband or at the very least log your O2 sensors. Better yet pull your plugs after your run to check fuel and timing marks.

i got the nitrous to work. i went to get the car dynoed

i gained 61 hp and 105 tq.. on the 100shot and 91 octane tune..

the stock pull was 431hp and 416tq..

the tuner said the a/f ratio is ok. it was lingering around 11.2- 11.5.. regarding its based on a email tune..

my question to you guys is how come the tq was more than the hp.. is its because of my bolt on setup? should i switch out the shorty headers for longtubes? or is it from the tune?

here is a image of the nitrous runs

It has nothing to do with your setup nitrous always makes gives you more tq than hp.

I mad 450hp/440tq NA and 650hp/811tq on a 200 shot
