While I'd rather drive a GM truck over anything else out there, I can't blame you for being interested in the EcoBoost truck. That sort of engineering truly impresses me, and I hope GM makes a similar move very soon.

I drive an 02 avalanche, still love it, they cheapened truck platforms since imo, and i wouldn't buy a current model chevrolet truck for anything.
Good thing you didn't post you where going to buy a toyota tundra, then we'd have to pull out the ban hammer.
GM HD trucks still outperform the Super Duty in real world tests.

Any independent test will verify that real HD trucks are made by GM.

WOW, I thought it was just my dodge, I want the GM HD after my truck expires, but your not much better off than I am. I get 6mpg's towing the toyhauler. 10mpg's around town without it and 13 on the highway.

How much weight can the V6 EcoBoost tow?

All you fools buying gas HD trucks to tow. Why settle for 7mpg when towing a case of beer???

Our 2500 HD diesel Ram gets about 22mpg unloaded and about 11 towing our horses or travel trailer. Sure it costs more per gallon but 22mpg vs 7mpg??? No brainer. And I bet I have more torque

Only pic I have of it...

Because I work from home so I only use it to tow a couple times a month, the diesel maintenance and oil changes are more than gas. Your payment is probably alot more than mine. So when I tow at 6mpg vs your 11mpg and have less maintenance cost and lower truck payment I think I am ahead.
Diesel has a longer life on the motor but I have heard of injectors going out and costing a fortune?
