There is hope for our younger generation yet. My son will be 25 next summer and the only accidents he's been in was a pit bull that ran into him in the middle of the night on a country road in georgia (not his fault, just like hitting a dear according to insurance company) and a big suv running him off the road on a dark rainy night (didn't see him) so not his fault either. both times he walked away with no injuries because he did what he was taught to do, take your foot off the gas, don't brake hard, both hands on steering wheel and control car to side of road and slowly stop. The suv was a hit and run but there was a witness and the black paint on the drivers side of his car was evidence enough. Once again, there is hope with our younger generation.

It sure would be nice if that boys parents had taught their son to be a man and apologize for not only running into you but also to ask if you were all right and had any injuries. So many young adults today just don't know how to be respectful. And those that do know how I always go out of my way to tell them thank you.

Sure do hope you get your baby back up and running soon and I'm glad you are okay. (((((HUGGSSSS))))) from Georgia!!!
Thanks for the support!

It was Liberty Mutual. Anyway, I was trying to just run it all through his insurance company. But it's going on 5 days, and the kid won't call them back and they need a statement from him. I'm tired of waiting around, so I'm running it through my insurance company to get the ball rolling. Hopefully, they'll step up before I owe the deductible (he dreams).

Good news is that dealer has all the parts either already shipped or in progress. I'll post the "after" pics in a couple weeks.

What're you talking about? That'll buff right out.

Okay, so maybe a joke wasn't the best thing to open this post with...
Can you at least get a little satisfaction knowing that his car cost more than yours? That'll cost more to fix, and he's at fault here, so that's even more on his insurance.

That was not funny! Ok, actually, the thought DID cross my mind that if they totaled it I was going to do the math on the SS....but then I decided I needed that direct-injected six. This thing is just too fun to drive! It's nimble and I prefer the nose on the LT. Plus, my first Camaro was a 250 cube six banger with a stick, so I got a thing for these machines.
