Paddle shifter extensions - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I saw a few threads on the non-ZL1 Gen6 forum of people who bought paddle shifter extensions online. Anyone do this on a Gen 5 ZL1?

I don’t like the small size of the paddles but I don’t want to rice out the Z either. I wouldn’t do red personally, but was thinking black ones. Functionally I like the idea, but not sure it would suit a muscle car. The are the ones which just stick into the back of the existing paddles with 3M tape and can be had for around $30. They are metal not plastic and look decent in the pics - get good reviews too.

Please feel free to either talk me into it or talk me off the ledge.

I have a set on my C7 Grand Sport and I painted them to match the interior and they came out pretty good. Functionality isn’t bad, if you go black they will be kinda stealth looking from the outside.

Love my Vitesse paddle shifter extensions, they actually replace the stock paddles and are held in by the factory pin. Way more stable than 3m tape.
