lovin every minute of the zl1. but i have one concern, im really hoping to get a zl1 in 2012, and im kinda concerned with the psuede inserts. the zl1 would be my daily driver to school, about 30 min each way. and i for one want the manual transmission. will the psuede on the shift knob get tarnished, steering wheel as well?

I LIKE: The whole exterior of nearly any ZL1 with the SSX wheels, and track video showing the cornering capabilities of the ZL1 and burnouts was AWESOME!
I DISLIKE: The ugly A$$ steering wheel, and cheesy plastic looking interior. I'm going to have to add the Alpine nav system into my ZL1 just to have the interior look a little "tech" and "modern", you feel me?

I still don't understand why most people say retarded things about the plastic. Sure it's "cheap." I guess.. It's way better then my '99 z71 was! You should've see the paint pealing off the dash! In these years to come I highly doubt my car will ever get that bad.

Still not sure if I prefer the stock grille but this is definitely at least the next best thing. much better than the heritage and all those other ugly grilles.

Because the exterior of the Camaro is arguably the best of the 3 pony cars and the interior is the worst.

Love the ZL1, but just not in the market now. At least I have had the privilege to be on the Inde Motorsports track a couple of times and that drive was up Mount Lemmon in Tucson. Great videos! But the I'm sure the weather was giving them fits during the shoots. Its been unusually bad down here.

I can watch a bone stock ranger fry the tires off on concrete.

That is... unless you're in a burnout competition and the whole point is the smoke show.
Dumping your full power with no tire noise isn't going to happen unless you ae slicks or drag radials at the track.

It will be no less than $5,000 more than the coupe. So about $66,000 out the door.

Have you ever sat in an other $60k cars? The Camaro interior looks like an econo box car compared to most others.

I agree

The question is how much you are willing to pay for a Camaro. If GM upgraded the material with cow a$$ dash and some other high end stuff then that drives the price up. Then people will bitch about how expensive the Camaro is

GM changed 1/3 of the parts in the car what more do you want at that price.

An interior that doesn't suck more c*** than Jenna Jameson perhaps? Thank god the ZL1 is, as of yet, the fastest pony car order-able....
I absolutely love my Camaro but I for one am not oblivious to its obvious shortcomings.
