Need some advice >.>
I am in need of a little advice...
I've got an amazing car, and it seems I've been bitten by the mod bug... Here is the part that I need advice on, I'm only in highschool, so my income is.... a bit limited. I think I might have enough for about half of a new camaro when they come out, if I don't mod the stang... but she just isn't fast enough for me... >.> So should I mod and wait a little longer for the 'maro, or save my money and get one asap? Now, I'm sure most people's answers will be a little bias because my current ride is a ford, but.. what the heck. |

Ford or not...I'll give to you what I think, straight.
Save for the 'Maro. but first, I have a question...it's a GT trim (300hp)...and it's not "fast enough" to tide you over? But seriously, it all depends now, I guess on what you want more - disregarding current speed - Do you want a better handling car, with more power, most likely a better interior, and overall more pleasing to the eye? Or do you want a fast car that's nice to look at, but not very kind in the handling dpt. compared to it's speed... Up to you. But if it was me - I'd totally save for the better car. |

save up and trade in the stang for the new maro.... unless you like the rear end of it. cus thats all u'll see. hahaha. seriously tho, save up. resist those urges to waste money modding a ford when you can have the power from the factory with the new maro?

V8? Looks like a V6. I don't see any GT emlbems on there and the fog lights are smaller.
SAVE>>>SAVE>>>SAVE>>> I have a list of mods I want to make to my SS...starting w/ headers. Then, moving to a cam. But, that's going to cost a pretty penny and is a BIG chunk of change towards a new Camaro. |

What are your plans for the Mustang once the Camaro arrives?
If your plans include selling the Mustang in order to get the Camaro, I think that answers the question. Personally, I would save, save, save. As Tag stated, I too want to do a few more things to the SS, but I'm saving for the new Camaro. Your Mustang is a really nice ride as it is. Enjoy it as is, and save your money. |

Tag's right Dragon, it is a v6. I got the GT bumpers/grill for Christmas last year, I liked the more agressive look. I plan on trading the stang in on the maro once I get the chance.... so now that I think about it... mods would be a bad thing >.<

We'll hold you to that, you know.
There'll be no buying V-8 versions' cowl induction hood for this, or Z28 /o SS badges... (still can't believe I fell for that on your 'stang ) |

I wouldn't put any more money into the V6. I'd save for the Camaro.
