it is a firebird. google " 2008 Smokey and The Bandit" firebird..same exact car. and as for it looking like a "knock off" or customized camaro all firebirds since as far as i can remember have been identical to the camaros besides the front ends and rear ends. you can use fenders doors and everything from one car to fix another. i had an 89 camaro that i fixed up with fenders and doors and all that from a firebird. they are very close in design and just about always have been. but even if they try to say that it isnt a camaro it is. and even on camaro5.com there were threads on the homepage that had a couple proto firebirds that look identical to this one. look it all up.
