ADM race intake

I've got a few questions for ppl with the ADM race intake.

1. Are you happy with it?
2. Is there a big difference between the race and the street?
3. Is losing your windshield washer fluid worth it?
4. How does it compare to a roto fab?

Any other info that you would have will be great. I'm trying to deceide between ADM or Roto Fab.

1) Absolutely
2) The real main difference is the race version has a air scoop, thus resulting in lower IAT temps
3) Totally, I dont have a washer tank in my truck due to a CAI setup, therefore the camaro was no big deal to me
4) Dunno

The ADM is a sealed air box drawing cool air from outside the engine compartment. The Roto-Fab may get a seal, it may not.

1. Yes, Im VERY happy with it.

2. Exactly what HaZe-x said, you get the scoop resulting in lower IAT's.

3. You dont have to lose you windshield washer fluid, another forum member had a good idea and used the JC Whitney bag which is what I have on mine. It works great.

4. I've never owned any roto-fab products, but they seem to make a good product. But, Ive seen first hand the quality and craftsmanship that goes into the ADM intakes and for me it was a no brainer to get the ADM Race intake. Great performance with an awesome look.

Hope this helps.

Loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeee my ADM intake

The air Scoop is awsome and you can feel the power instantly as you start the car and take off after its installed.

Cooler nights like we had here this last weekend really show how its a different vehicle

Matt if you do order one of these from ADM order it from them directly.

they are using newer designed parts now and those will come straight from them.

Does anyone have pictures of the installed scoop? Where exactly does it go? i removed my washer bottle and also removed some of the grille where the bottle used to sit for more air flow. Wondering where the ADM scoop comes into play...

Thanks,
Michael J.
