SS Guages

Sorry if this has already been answered, but why won't Chevy make the 4 auxiliary guages an option for all trim levels? So you get them standard on a 2LT but not even as an option on the 1SS? I for one would like at least to have them installed at the factory and not have to mess around with the console and try to mod it. For me I don't know if it's worth forking the extra money over for a 2SS just to get these guages. Chevy should make them an option for the 1LT and LS too!

Dealer installed vs manufacturer installed = $$$ for the dealer. To me it still doesn't make sense. I guess I'm in the minority on this. Or is it just that everyone knows that these guages are a very easy thing to install?

BTW, I don't mind paying for this installed at a dealer. I just think they would charge you more to install it vs GM installing it at the factory. That's all I'm saying. Why is it so hard to just make it an option on th 1SS?! Do you hear me GM!

It would be cool if it was part of another package. Like the RS package, but I know the RS package is only external appearance. I'm still contemplating whether 2SS is worth it. Oh well, I've got plenty of time since I'm not preordering.
