The tune really helps the l99..Im not sure about the ls3. I think with headers added to the mix your good. The tune wouldnt do much without some mods. Long tubes on your car with a cai and tune would be a great start.

Anything with over 450hp definitely needs a good tire upgrade to reach 1/4 mile potential, especially rwd.

I see you have a gt 500 now..there was a red boss running slicks..he was pulling 11.1s at a track where hellcats were pulling 12.4 to 12,8. I don't know what he had done..but that car flew.

I had a Boss 302 put 2-3 cars on me before I locked him and he didn't pull anymore... But he may have hit 2nd, I could only hit 3rd... Didn't realize they were that much faster than a 5.0.

Nice looking car too.

That's a nice looking Boss, don't get the white roof tho.

Neither the Mustang or Challenger orange paints come close to the IOM, more so when parked side by side.

I've read about how the 392s close on the top end, so, when getting in the mods mood, add the mods to walk the 392 autos.

How would a boss 302 fare vs a 1LE?

I came so closs to buying a boss before my 1LE.

In a 1/4 drag the Boss will take a 1LE fairly easily. The 1LE simply isn't geared well for it and it's heavier.

Then again the 1LE wasn't designed to drag

Race one and find out. It's alot better doing it then wondering about or saying it can't be done. I've beaten cars I didn't think I would.
