2010 Camaro SS starts but dies

Bought rolled over 2010 Camaro SS. going to make street rod out of it.

Have had car running several times but now it starts then dies immediately.

Car has boral exhaust without cats. but has place for cats and ar eplugged in.

Not sure but think it has some sort of a ECM flash for it to run.

New battery good ECM voltage 14.

Have to clear P1516 and P2119 on code reader for it to start.

Fuel pressure 58 psi.

Spent several hours yesterday on internet with chevrolet answer expert and he finally said the ECM needed to be changed.

Does anyone have what all of the "live data readings" should be.

Or can someone help me with the start - die problem

The ECM may need to be flashed back to stock.

How long does the engine idle before dying?

Try leaving your key on the on position for 2 hours and then turn off then insert ket and turn it on and see if itll fix it. I did this with my vw gti and it worked

Bigshoe,

Sincere apologies to hear about your car starting and dying. Let me know if you'd like an official diagnosis at your local dealer. I can help orchestrate and oversee the visit on your behalf, otherwise keep us updated on if the concern gets fixed.

Sincerely,

William R.

Thanks William,

This not really a Chevy issue it is me trying to make a hot rod out of a rolled over Camaro SS.
