What does this cap go to?

I went out to my garage about an hour ago to wipe off the dust on my Camaro and noticed this on drivers side wheel, right behind it on the garage floor. In the terrible pics the inside of the cap has threads so its screws onto something on the drivers side I think, does anyone know where this goes so that I can put it back on?

Notice 2nd pic you can barely see threads inside of the cap.

Under your hood, the pucks of your 2 front struts, they cover the nut ends of the strut.
