On beach blvd. at Courthouse Rd. there is a fishing pier with a parking lot. Great for pics. In Gulfport.

Yes, that would be a great location. I'll check back with you by this weekend and hopefully have things confirmed. CTC is supposed to be really big this year, and I don't want to get in the way of the judging areas.

First off, im not a camaro guy.. i drive a gray volvo s60t5.. but car people are cool people in my book .. google showed me this thread and curiousity killed(my time :()

for those of you not really from the area or haven't been since last year.. hwy 90(beach) is FINALLY complete... woo woo 2 lanes each way. really nice. huge curbs so be really careful if you attempt on spinning the tires

You guys really might want to meet up on the beach in Ocean Springs to take some pics, nice bridge for the background, a barrier island, the tall casinos, etc. Gulfport harbor is a good spot as well. I have a feeling courthouse pier/parking will be PACKED because the new main Cruisin home meet place is ~1/2 a mile down the road. Plenty of parking at the mall.

I wouldn't mind snapping a few pics if no one brings a dSLR along.. for a free ride of course though..haha..(sounds like someone already offered, but down i'm if something happens). (matt922 at gmail dot com)

I have this crazy feeling it will be the biggest cruising yet. Will be much better than last year due to the finished road construction.

Can't wait. Plan on taking a BUNCH of pics.

cool, been wanting to take some pictures there for a while, last time i tried i couldn't find the right turn to get on the beach.. ended up giving up cause the sun beat me to it :(

whats your weapon of choice?(cam/lens)

do you shoot in RAW or mainly jpeg?

and to the OP. the location would depend a lot on how many cars make it for the photo op.

Yes, because of all the activities on Hwy. 90, I think starting off at the outlet will allow us to meet up and not be in the way. Then we can take a picture there, but still cruise and take another for those going to the beach!

the sky really was that color.. started raining about 15 minutes after that. Seen quite a few SSs so far, black and orange are very popular colors..
