So, I have seen where folks have posted about unhooking the RS model DRL and wiring them up to the parking lights to have them work while driving at night?

Sounds great!! How would one go about doing this?

Also, I'm thinking why could you not have them for both applications.. How bout leaving them wired up as DRL normally but also splice into the parking lights to have them work w/ the normal headlites.. I suppose this would require a diode to be installed as well to keep the DRL's from powering the parking lites during the day.. ha..

Thoughts? Suggestions? Help?

This is how it would work for me ideally(with RS cars):

With switch in "Auto" position:
- During day, (DRL) fog lights and halos would be on.
- In low light conditions, main HID headlight would come on in addition to the fog lights and halos.

I wired my DRLs up to my park light circuit today, so whenever the park lights (halos, etc) are on, the new and renamed fog lights now come on too.
However, I've also retained the standard DRL function.
I'll write up a DIY tomorrow or something, too late tonight.
Definately needs an LED bulb to match colors, but for now, this will do great.

If somebody got me detailed specs on how they wanted this wired, with wire lengths and everything, I could custom make some harnesses for this application with diodes and everything.
