Adding subwoofers to 2013 ss with my link
Hey guys,
I've looked on here a bit and haven't seen anything specific as to what I need to upgrade my system on a 2013 ss. I've seen lots on the 2010-12's but given that the 2013's changed a bit with my link I just don't know what I need. I'd like to add a sub or 2 but want to do it the right way. Any advise would be appreciated, even if its a link to a thread. But please be specific to the 2013's I also welcome Pam's or responses from forum sponsors. So what and how have you upgrades your 13's with my link? |

See if the sub thump harness supports 2013. If it does, just get that harness. Works well for me.

Just get a high power line out converter and wire it into the amp on the drivers side trunk, I used the rear speaker outputs and then tapped the factory remote for my remote wire. I suggest investing in a good Line Out Converter though you will notice a difference. I used the Audiocontrol LC2i, it works great.
Im running 1 Cerwin Vega 10 in a 1.2 cubic foot slot ported enclosure and a JBL Amp. Im only pushing 175 watts RMS and it sounds awesome cause how small the cabin is. |

******** T harness. Worked a lot better than the in line converter. 13 2lt rs with mylink. You need a mono amp for the sub, the factory amp is weak! http://********.com/Chevrolet-GMC-Su...t-Product.html A lot of members recommended calling Steve from ********. He'll tell you exactly what you need. Seems to be trustworthy.

The harness still works. The amp/wiring didn't change.
There are many of us using it, myself included. You can get the whole kit from ******** or piece it together yourself. |
