Not impressed at all ... it looks very rinky-dinky. They could have spent a little more time on the finishing look with the top down. Not for me.

well honestly, I think it looks like crap, but then I'm not really a convertible kind of guy anyway. I think the coupe looks MUCH MORE aggressive. This looks like something you'd see rolling down the road in the macy's thanksgiving day parade with a miss america type contestant sitting on the top of the backseat giving her little princes wave. I really can't stand the shark fin mounted in the middle of the trunk...uhhhh. You could give me one of these and I'd sell it.

I like it. And one of my favorite things about it is that the rear quarter windows roll down and it appears that you can see out of them better than the hardtop when they're up. Really wish the hard top had better rear quarter windows.

I was waiting to see a video. When they come out with the keyless push start, I want to see a video of that too.

OP, Thanks for taking the time to share some cool pics and vids with us!!

Also, I don't see anything wrong with the fin, but then I'm not a vert guy!

I'm glad they are offering the convertible, I like convertibles, (owned a BMW 2.8 Z3 and a Mazda MX5) but I am not convinced by the Camaro convertible. Something about it just doesn't look right. I think it's the proportions.

Really quite glad now that I didn't wait for the convertible and that I got an '11 coupe instead!

Don't get me wrong (as far as my convertible comment) some cars look good as a vert, for instance the corvette. The vettes have always looked good with drop tops, just the camaro is not one of those cars IMO.

I think people would appreciate a hard top vert a lot
I'm so-o-o-o-o glad Chevy didn't do a hardtop convertible. I wouldn't want the extra weight or the extra cost. Remember, the car is targetted at a certain segment of the car market and needs to be price competitive in that market for it to survive as a model line. I'm not sure why some people are so hung up about how any convertible looks with the roof up. This looks great for a car that has a roof made of cloth and folds up into your trunk. And it completely rocks with the roof down. No one buys a convertible for how it looks with the roof up. You buy it because the top drops! I understand its not everyone's thing, but I think Chevy did an awesome job! This car is 100% worth the wait for me.

Not a fan of the shark fin trunk. Other than that it's a pretty sweet car. Although I still prefer the hardtop with sunroof.

sorry!..i think the car just looks better with the "reverse mohawk!"..gotta say,
i've had 'verts before, and once the novelty wears off,it loses it 's appeal,..at least it did for me!..in my view,''nothin' really special!..it's like anything else!..once ya get used to it,..thrill's gone!....what DOES last,is the "performance",and great feelin' ya get ,drivin' the car!..THAT excitement is always with ya!....and NOT necessarily enhanced by a"drop-top!".."just sayin!"
