Still - even considering the GG, ZL1 is a bargain with it's technology. Besides - this just adds more fuel for a Track Pack option (remember that ZL1 with the extra slot in the hood?...) Quote:

The SS at 4.6 is standing start and 4.0 to 4.6 is big difference. A good driver would be quicker than 4.0 with the manual |

$54K is a little bit higher than what I was hoping for, but considering everything that went into the ZL1, that's reasonable and it comes in under my "possible reconsideration point" of $55K.......so ultimately, I'm happy with the price.
12.1 for the manual is pretty quick, but maybe I'm hard to please.....I was hoping for a tenth or two faster. Like Scarrzz said, it shouldn't take much to get in the 11's. Don't get me wrong, it's still , just not quite the I was hoping for.

Not too far off of my prediction from a month ago. Not sure about the top speed being 10 mph less but it could be the drag coefficient.

1/4 mile and 0 to 60 can not be measured from a roll. 5 to 60 could be, but not zero. Come on GM, you have pro drivers and are proud to state the time at the 'ring', why not give the customer the straight scoop on what your pro drivers were able to pull off in a straight line? I don't recall such a coment when the original ZL1 was tested in 69. And it was on crap tires and suspension compared to this beast.
Price is too far out of my reach because I am not in a place in life where I can afford to have a garage queen, but it is very good for this level of a car. I am very impressed with the car and it's price and would love to eventually have one.

well that puts me out of the picture,i was guessing around $49 to start, wow i was off a bit, would love to have one but can't afford, but even if i could afford that kinda payment,i'm not sure that i would get it,i just have a problem paying more of a note on a car than i do my house,im not saying it is priced too high cause it's not,not for what you get compared to other car's that this beast is competing with,i think it is acually a good deal for what ya get, just saying it is tooooo deep for my pockets.

The option is in the finish. $600 for exposed, clear coated carbon fiber. Black painted finish is included.
