I finally ordered! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

After lurking on these forums for a few weeks, doing my research, and getting all my ducks (Camaro related) in a row, I finally went to Classic Chevrolet in Sugarland and ordered a rally yellow 2LT/ RS automatic on my birthday (well, the day before)!!! The whole process was so easy and there was no pressure from anyone. Joe M is my salesperson, but was busy with a presentation at the time. So Leroy Campbell (great salesperson!) put my order together, got all the paperwork and deposit together and took all that back to Joe so that he could finalize it. I was told they would not put the order in until Tuesday, 8/25 (I ordered on the 19th) because that's when they place their orders in. Regardless, I am probably the only person in the world who wants to take a delayed delivery of their Camaro

You see, I'm graduating this December from UT Austin and spending my last semester interning at the White House working for President Obama's Health Care taskforce! I am leaving September 1st and coming back on December 17th, so I wanted the delivery to coincide with my graduation date and arrival back from DC.

I want to thank all the countless people who I quoted at all the different dealerships that I ran out of (Champion Chevrolet on I-45

, your words of hope kept me going for weeks because I thought that the only way to get a Camaro at a reasonable price was to take a plane to a place far, far away
