It is exactly the same as the 2011. The car was designed to have the HUD from the start, even the mounting holes are there for it under the dash.

You can move the position vertically. It displays the phone number, music source, song name, XM channel, tach, speed, compass, gear (in automatics), turn signal, turn by turn navigation and probably other stuff I am forgetting.

There is a switch you have to install right behind the keys. It has a pair of buttons for moving the display vertically and a knob that controls the brightness and the page.

All of the parts for the HUD are GM Parts, except for the wiring Harness that Ofer makes and all of the connectors that he uses are GM Parts. So other then the Harness EVERYTHING IS GM PARTS, nothing aftermarket. Also as I and others have said, the car was built to accept HUD from the START, GM just decided not to include it in the 2010's at the last minute. All the info that was put out at the very first said that this would be a Standard Feature on all 2LT, 2LT/RS, 2SS, and 2SS/RS's. The same can also be said about the ABL feature that was suppose to at first go all around the door panel and across the dash and was changed to end up being only along the top edge of the door panel.

If you look down at post #23, Patrickt has the information (including the PayPal link to purchase it directly) of the HUD kit.

The last prices I heard were $486.53 for the HUD kit and either $85 or $115 (with ABL connectors) for the harness. Those prices might be outdated.

OK, I see on the thread that 2SSRS has on the harness (CLICK HERE) that he has shipped out 23 harnesses. There are only 14 installed as per this thread. What about the other nine?

I have all the parts for doing the installation and made up a harness. I'm waiting to do the install when I get the time. I would be able to do someone elses installation after completing mine. I live in michigan.
