Skip Shift in MD

Does anyone here work at a shop, or know of a shop that can bypass the CAGS, skip shift.....

I also will need possible future work done to the car (paint, body) but for now I need to find a shop I know won't screw me on price or quality. This is my first REAL car (other then 2 past durangos) and I am doing this right.

Thanks
And yes, bagels are included in the offer as long as the shop is close enough to bethesda.

You may void the warranty by disabling skip shift.

It wont void the warranty. This is a very, very, simple mod. It is a plug on the side of your transmission. Buy the skip shift elimination part. Unplug the skip shift, and plug both ends to keep water out. Job is done!

Does it really bother you? I have only had it come on once.

When it comes on, all you have to do is give it some more gas and it disappears..

You can install a skip-shift eliminator for around $20 and that problem will go away! Here is what I am referring to: http://www.bmcspeedshop.com/product_p/izm993.htm We have these in stock, so even though we aren't in Maryland, you'd have it in just a couple days.

What is the purpose of skipshift? Why is it even there?

It's for fuel mileage from the factory.

Just buy a skip shift eliminator and do it yourself, it's extremely easy. I did it on mine and it only took about 10 minutes.

Skip shift

I installed one on my GTO during an oil change. Was extremely easy, literally plug and play. The skip shift is very disconcerting when you get blocked.
