Hmmm........can't believe I have missed posting in this thread til now.

Here's my 68 SS.........it was complete when I got it with a 327 and 4 speed along with a 4:10 12 bolt posi rear.......now it's riding with a GMPP crate 350, TKO 600 5 speed and a fresh rebuild on the 12 bolt.......I also added a lot of under hood goodies as well as all AutoMeter Phantom II gauges..........

I've also been working on some garage updates to make a nice parking spot for the black 2010 that will be parked next to this one in the not-to-distant future. I'll post some pics of that later.

Mods, please resize large pics..........sorry!!

More pics are available by going to the link in my sig!!

Nice, nice, nice. My Dad had a black 68 SS so these pics really bring back many memories. Those Rally spinner wheels look good, too. The 68 is my favorite 1st gen body because the vent windows were deleted and the grille was the classiest of the bunch. But I would take any of them.

Hello everyone! I just found this site, I don't know how I didn't join sooner. But after seeing a pic off of this site, posted on the corvetteforum recently I started poking around. I WILL BUY a new Camaro when they come out, no question about it. I've loved Camaros since I was young, my mom would drive me to school in her 69 RS. I vowed I would buy 1st Gen when I could afford one, so that's what I did almost 9 years ago.

This is how it looked then

This is how it looks now

After I got the 67, I needed some new school muscle to roll in for everyday stuff. I was "this close" to getting a 02 SS, but for not much more I got this

You'd do the same in my shoes! But a part of me wishes I had the 4th Gen, but when GM announced the re release of the Camaro I said to myself," Self, there's your next car!!!"

Jason

That is increadible!!! Good grief, I love those restoration pix like that...to see it go from old and falling apart to perfection....

Welcome to the site and congrats on the Z06.

whew..
I am getting the "bug" again...
Just sold my 68 RS last summer, been poking around this site today and am getting the fever to buy a 2010.
I had talked myself out of it because of rising gas prices. (That was the only crazy reason for selling the 68 and to buy a bike)
I am now drivng a new Jetta TDI diesel and love it.
42 mpg on average..

Should I sell the TDI and talk myself into the new camaro?

Wow momma! Them is some very nice Camaros here!

Here's my before,

and my after!

That little guy in the first picture is now almost 21 and now owns my 92 Firebird as of last week! That was a 15 year restoration from the time I bought the car in 1981 until I drove it for the very first time in 1995 and it still wasn't quite finished then.
